Bernardo Passos, 25, is a 1st Dan black belt in Luta-Livre and black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and also a professional MMA fighter. Born in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian represents MMA Factory, FZN London and Cadosteam.
Bernardo currently competes for ARES FC, one of the biggest MMA events in Europe, and has a professional MMA record of 4 wins and only 1 loss.

The Heel Hook Team is a Luta-Livre team dedicated to developing and improving leg lock techniques, with a special focus on leg locks, such as the heel hook. Founded by Bernardo Passos, the team aims to spread submission techniques and offer specialized training for fighters who want to improve their skills in leg attacks.
The team stands out for promoting a meticulous and technical approach to leg locks, emphasizing precision and safety in the application of techniques. In addition to training competitors for grappling and MMA tournaments, the Heel Hook Team also engages in the development of methods of defense against leg locks, ensuring that practitioners are prepared for any situation.
The Heel Hook Team is made up of athletes of different levels, from beginners to black belts, and collaborates with other academies and teams to promote seminars and workshops, spreading knowledge of Luta-Livre and specialization in leg locks.
